Subject	120k and I find 94-95 cam gears on my 91 z. Thoughts?

Message	As the subject says, I was surprised to find the two part vtc cam gears on my 91 TT. I am a bit confused unless at some point before I purchased my car the gears were replaced or maybe a 94 engine was installed as it still has the old style injectors. Any thoughts on how I could narrow this down?
